The Mimms baby sarong sling is a fashionable baby sling for an very attractive price and is a very nice sling, somewhat padded in the edges and over the shoulder. While the padded edges are comfortable for the baby and the padded shoulder for the person who is carrying, the sling is not too warm (single fabric) and not too big to take along in a bag. Shoulder piece very well structured, somewhat elongated on the back, giving extremely good support. Beautiful combinations of finely woven cotton.

Rings
The Mims uses only heavy-duty fully molded nylon rings. Such rings are durable, can withstand weight, stress and countless washings in the washing machine & dryer. The rings have been tested to endure pulling & stress tension way beyond 390kg to 570kg forces.

Padding
Padding used is lightweight closely-woven fibre-fill polyester quilt. This does not disintegrate with washing. Extra Stitching is added to secure so the quilt padding does not get twisted with washing. The main fabric of the sling fold around the quilt padding so that even if the trimming edges were to tear off, the sling is still safely one-piece.


Tail
Wide Tail of the baby carrier is made long and left open instead of being sewn into a thin strap. This open-tail allows you to adjust each section of the baby carrier independently, so that you can get a snug fit. The longer tail accomodates the needs of larger-framed parents. The wide open-tail is good for extra coverage that may be needed for discreet breastfeeding.

Fabric
The Mims is made from  cotton fabric for breathibilty, and the fabric & sling/ring security system has been tested to hold up to weights of beyond 390kg before any slipping. The sarong carrier uses lightweight materials and the whole sling weighs in total only 380g, as opposed to some other slings that weigh as much as 1/2kg


General information Baby Slings
Baby Slings are very easy to use and are on or off in a few seconds. You can carry your baby with your hands free, ideal for shopping and travelling. The weight of your baby is equally divided between shoulder and hip.

Baby Slings are easy to use with a new-born and are equally capable of carrying a child up to at least 16 kg/35 lbs. During the first months your baby cradles in front of your chest or sits up in a supported upright position, where he or she can hear your heartbeat and can live with you in your rhythm.

Later your baby can also sit up in front of you, looking outwards. After 4 to 6 months your baby moves onto your hip and shares the world with you from this protected position. Lying down in the sling is still possible all through the first few years.  With your baby in the baby sling you can feed him or her at any time wherever you are. All slings are made of 100% good quality cotton and are easily washable.
